Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry role in Honolulu, HI. Must hold an active HI RN license with BLS/ACLS and basic arrhythmia recognition skills.

Minimum one year of recent full-time equivalent experience and graduation from an accredited nursing program are required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Position involves 12-hour variable day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays, using Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Active HI RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Basic arrhythmia recognition skills required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in a hospital setting.
• 12-hour variable day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel pay.
• Travel assignments limited to a maximum of two years per the facility's tenure policy, requiring a 90-day break to reset.
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months to be eligible for a travel assignment.
