Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Westfield, Massachusetts. This RN will work 12-hour day shifts on a 36-hour week for a 13-week assignment.

Requirements include an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg acute care experience. Travel benefits and housing options are provided by MedPro.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.
