Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a Des Moines, Iowa assignment. The role requires 13 weeks of travel nursing with 48 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

The position demands an Iowa-based license (compact accepted), BLS, and 24 months Med Surg/Telemetry experience, plus proficiency in telemetry and Heparin. Flexibility to float and extend the assignment is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license
• BLS certification
• 24 months Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Experience with Heparin and telemetry/cardiac.
• Precepting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Adapt to multiple unit settings and collaborate with care teams
• Support patient recovery and safety
• Float across campuses when needed
