Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves caring for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting, with adaptability across campuses and a strong patient-centered approach.

The assignment runs 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027, 36 hours per week, 12-hour days, travel employment. Candidates should have 24 months of Med Surg/Telemetry experience and Iowa or multistate license, plus BLS and EPIC

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of current Medical Surgical and Medical Surgical Telemetry experience.
• Iowa or multistate license required, active BLS certification.
• Proficiency with Heparin; recent Charge Nurse experience.
• Minimum of 1 completed travel contract within the past 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Adapt to multiple campus facilities and schedules.
• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a hospital setting.
