Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry assignment in Martinsville, Virginia. This role requires an active VA or compact RN license and at least two years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience, with day 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour workweek.

The position offers a tax-free stipend and day-one benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and weekly payroll. Start date is 12/21/2025 for 13 weeks, travel employment.

Qualifications

• Active VA or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Med/Surg Telemetry RN.
• Current BLS certification required; RQI certifications are not accepted.
• Date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Medical Surgical/Telemetry combination unit in a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the facility.
• Candidates cannot have been employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility in the past 12 months.
• Candidates must not hold full-time employment elsewhere.
