Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Lubbock, Texas. This 13-week contract features 36 hours per week on a 3x12 schedule, with dayshift 07:00–19:00 and alternating weekend duties.

The RN will provide adult and geriatric care, perform assessments, monitor rhythms, administer meds, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. ACLS, BLS, NIHSS are required; 1 year MS/Telemetry experience preferred; compact license accepted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry.
• Current RN license; Compact license accepted.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for adults and geriatrics in a medical-surgical and telemetry environment.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and assist in diagnostic procedures.
• Assist with blood product administration, central line management, and heparin protocols.
• Engage in wound care practices and manage patients on high-flow nasal cannulas.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Conduct assessments and manage patients with various medical conditions in accordance with established protocols.
