Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Lubbock, Texas. The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour shifts, starting 10/19/2026. This travel role offers housing, health benefits, and competitive travel pay.

Active RN license, accredited nursing degree, and BLS certification are required, along with 18 months of recent Med/Surg Acute Care experience. Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation as to medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members
