American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele unit in Sacramento, CA, requiring a CA RN license and proficiency in telemetry strip interpretation. This travel assignment includes diverse patient populations and rotating shifts.

Candidate must have 2+ years of RN experience, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications, and be prepared for in-unit float, documentation in Cerner EMR, and adherence to unit protocols.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license (Standard or Compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips.
• Must reflect legal name matching government-issued ID on drivers license copy.
• Two supervisor/peer references required, one within 12 months and one within 3 years.

Responsabilités

• Med/Surg Tele unit with 27 beds; patient ratios 1:4-5 Tele, 1:5 Med/Surg.
• Care for diverse patient population including GI, GU, CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, and more.
• Telemetry monitored by RN verification; no monitor techs on unit.
• Titrate drips (Heparin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone); RN responsible for accuracy.
