Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Level 1 trauma Emergency Department in Massachusetts. Candidates must hold an active MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and have Level 1 trauma center experience. Epic EMR experience is required, with no floating or charge duties.

The role involves caring for Med/Surg Tele boarding patients with a typical 5:1 ratio, averaging 40 patient visits per day. It requires a 12-hour night shift and rotating weekends, with housing allowance and travel

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Level 1 trauma center experience required.
• Experience with boarder patients in ED preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Care for Med/Surg Tele boarding patients awaiting inpatient beds.
• Average 40 patients per day with a 5:1 patient ratio.
• 12-hour night shifts, working every other weekend.
• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients boarding in ED.
