Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a busy Emergency Observation Unit in Concord, NC. NIHSS certification and prior cardiac telemetry experience are required.

Night shifts 7p–7a, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment with weekend rotation and no on-call. Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell are used. Travel stipends apply; local candidates are not accepted.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification required for resource team responsibilities.
• Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration.
• One professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Med/Surg Tele care on Emergency Observation Unit.
• Manage cardiac telemetry and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Priority floating to other units within scope of practice.
• Weekend rotation and holiday coverage as required.
• Follow 12-hour night shift schedule and 36 hours per week.
