Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Tele in Winchester, MA. This travel assignment runs for 8 weeks starting 01/04/2027 with guaranteed 72 hours biweekly and 12-hour night shifts (3x per week).

The role involves float coverage within assigned units and is based in a comprehensive healthcare facility. Responsibilities include direct patient care, telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and coordination with the care team to ensure safe discharge planning.

Formación

• 2+ years RN experience in medical-surgical or telemetry settings; travel experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to participate in float coverage within assigned units as needed for staffing requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care for adults on Med Surg Tele services, including ongoing assessment, formulation of care plans, and timely interventions.
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry; recognize and respond to changes in patient condition; elevate to the team as appropriate.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; manage IV access and monitor for adverse effects.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Epic) with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other disciplines to coordinate care and support safe discharge planning.
• Support patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and self-care after discharge; ensure safety and infection control standards are maintained.
