• IMC MedSurgical unit within a hospital setting
• Full time night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs
• Hours: 36 hrs/wk
• Start Date: Oct 5, 2026
• Openings: 1
• Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements.
• Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• BSN preferred
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Complete new hire competency validations including MedSurg-specific skills with a preceptor
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Candidates who have worked at any CHRISTUS facility (non-travel) must be separated for 6 months prior to starting a travel assignment
