Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 18-week contract with 13-18 week options available

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio state or compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS preferred, all active and in hand (no pending certifications accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience, preferably within the last 3 years
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Co-worker references will not be accepted

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived for this role
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time within this health system
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Extensions available for up to 18 months total, followed by a required 6-month break before returning
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• Background check and license history must be clear of any open cases or hits

The weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, reflects the lower end of this range for local candidates and higher end of this range for travel candidates. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
