American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Tele LTACH assignment in Columbia, SC. You will provide direct patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and manage complex wound and tracheostomy care on a high-acuity unit.

The role requires SC or Compact RN licensure and 2+ years MS/Tele experience, with EPIC EMR proficiency and current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications. Shift is days, 4x12 hours, with on-call coverage and on-site facility responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MS/Tele experience
• LTAC experience preferred
• Minimum 1-year of EPIC EMR experience
• Skilled in complex wound care, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Tracheostomy care and management experience
• Respiratory/thoracic care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry LTACH unit
• Perform cardiac monitoring and respond to emergencies
• Manage complex wound care and tracheostomy care for patients
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of login
• Must reside more than 100 miles from any facility within the health system to be eligible for full travel pay rate
• Candidates residing 90-99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced bill rate
• Night shift travelers must reside 50+ miles from the contracted campus

American Traveler is hiring a RN - Med/Surg Tele for a LTACH unit requiring 2+ years of MS/Tele experience and a SC or compact RN license.

Details

• LTACH Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Day shift, 4x12 hour shifts, 7:00-19:30, Monday through Friday
• 36 or 48 hour weekly options available
• 13 to 26 week contract options
• Weekends supported by rotating on-call staff
• On-call coverage required after 5pm daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
• Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to qualified and competency-verified areas
