Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a night-shift RN for the Ortho/Med-Surg unit requiring active IL RN licensure and at least 2 years of experience. The role uses EPIC EMR and supports adult orthopedic and medical-surgical patients.

The position includes a 1900-0730 night shift, a 13-week contract, and every other weekend. Floating to other Med-Surg departments is possible within scope, with no holiday coverage required.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• CSU-ALS certification preferred for certain unit assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult orthopedic and medical-surgical patients.
• Work on the Ortho and North Surgical unit.
• Night shift schedule, 1900-0730.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Every other weekend required.
