Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients at Chamberlain Medical Center. Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license; multistate licensure if NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborates with physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing knowledge and standards.
• Plan and coordinate patient care, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.
