Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Med/Surg unit in Austin, Texas for a 13-week night shift assignment. Requires TX or compact RN license and tele experience; NIH Stroke certification preferred.

You will work 12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a 28-bed unit with telemetry, Meditech EMR, and no on-call requirements. Compensation includes $1,497/wk with lodging and meals stipends as outlined in the posting.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital experience required.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Care for a general Med/Surg patient population in a hospital setting.
• Work in a 28-bed Med/Surg unit with 32 FTEs including RNs and PCTs.
• Utilize telemetry, video EEG, Hoyer lift, bladder scanner, and vital sign monitoring equipment.
