Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Home Infusion IV Therapy position in the Baltimore area, requiring proficiency with IV placements, Ports, and PICC lines while working independently in patients' homes.

The role involves daytime Monday–Friday shifts (9:00 AM–5:00 PM) with occasional weekend on-call and a travel-friendly, home-based caseload. Travel perks and housing support are available for this field role.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Highly proficient with IV placements, infusion therapies, Ports, and PICC lines.
• Comfortable managing patients independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a working vehicle required.
• Must comply with Maryland law for mandatory seat belt use.
• Prior home infusion or home care experience preferred.
• Experience with remote client documentation and/or Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Home infusion setting within the Baltimore Metro Area.
• Provides, coordinates, teaches, and/or supervises care for a group of patients in their homes.
• Monday through Friday daytime shifts, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Weekend on-call rotation required approximately every 7-8 weeks (Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 8:30 AM).
• No float requirement.
• No holiday coverage required.
• Works independently managing a caseload of home-based patients.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• First time travelers may be considered depending on relevant experience.
