American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Chemotherapy/Infusion RN for Eastern Montana. The role requires a Montana or Compact RN license, 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience, EPIC EMR proficiency, and ONS certification.

The RN will work in the infusion area with day shifts (Mon-Fri) and no holiday coverage. Responsibilities include patient assessment, chemo administration, education, and coordination with physicians.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact).
• 2 years of chemotherapy administration experience.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide outpatient chemotherapy in the infusion area as part of the cancer care team.
• Work day shift, Monday through Friday.
• No holiday coverage required.
• Use EPIC EMR to document and coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, side effects, and care plans.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to physician orders.
• Perform in-office procedures and chemotherapy administration as needed.
• Serve as primary communications link between patients and physicians.
• Apply clinical judgment to triage and manage patient care needs.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Infusion area of a cancer care center providing outpatient chemotherapy services
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
• No holiday coverage required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Provide professional oncology nursing care as part of the cancer care team
• Assess patient health history and address physician orders
• Perform in-office procedures and chemotherapy administration
• Educate patients and families and manage cancer-related symptoms
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being through frequent visits
• Serve as primary communication link between patients and physicians
• Apply clinical judgment and decision-making to triage and manage patient care needs
