Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with combined Med/Surg and ER experience for a contract in Cozad, NE. You will cover day shifts on a 12-hour schedule in a critical access community facility.

Required ADN/BSN and NE or compact-state RN licensure, with BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC; NRP/ NIHSS preferred. Housing options are available nearby, and TruBridge EHR will be used for documentation.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in Nebraska or a compact state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required.
• NRP and NIHSS are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete patient assessments and monitor vital signs and labs.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and basic procedures.
• Care for patients in Med/Surg and ER, prioritizing acuity.
• Collaborate with physicians and case managers to plan care and discharge.
• Document treatments and assessments in TruBridge EHR.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and post-discharge steps.
