Solutions By Sanford invites experienced travel RNs to join a 14-week contract at Chamberlain Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD. The role emphasizes nursing process, patient education and coordinated care with an inter-professional team.

Eligible candidates have an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license, and relevant practice with travel experience. Weekly pay is provided along with Sanford benefits and opportunities to extend or relocate within Sanford sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the state Board of Nursing and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate nursing competency within the full scope of practice and standards for patient populations.
• Coordinate patient care, assess needs, educate patients and triage as required.
