Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse – Med Surg for a travel assignment in Glendale, California. This 13-week temporary role starts on 10/12/2026 with a 36-hour workweek (3x12-hour days) and weekly pay of $1,917–$1,980. The assignment is in a hospital setting coordinating patient care on a general medical/surgical unit.

The RN will assess, plan, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN/BSN or higher).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Assess patient status, plan and implement care, administer medications, and monitor clinical changes.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to support patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Document care accurately and maintain charting per policy; clock in to the unit when assigned to Float Pool duties.
