Job summary

Malone Healthcare - Nursing seeks a skilled RN for a 13-week Med Surg travel assignment in Indiana. You will cover 36 hours per week across day and night shifts, with patient loads around 1:5 to 1:6. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and collaboration with the care team using Epic EMR.

BLS is required. Candidates should have 1.5+ years of Level 1/2/tertiary RN experience and at least 1 year at a large facility (450+ beds).

Qualifications

• At least 1.5 years of Level 1, 2 or tertiary RN experience.
• At least 1 year of work at a facility with 450+ beds.
• Patient ratios of 1:5–6.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Communicate effectively with inter-professional teams.
• Utilize Epic EMR and hospital equipment (IV pumps, wound vacs, feeding pumps).
• Manage medications including heparin and insulin drips.
• Monitor telemetry and ensure patient safety.
