• Observation MS RN - Days
• NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start: 6/29 or 7/6 - Weekly orientation in June & July
• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Shift Requirement: 12hr Days 6:30-7
• Float Requirement: First to float within skillset.
• On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.
• Required Certs: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum Experience: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.
• Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
• Patient Population: Chest pain, abdominal pain, flank plank, CVA/TIA, generalized weakness/awaiting placement/geri-psych placement.
• Skillset: PIV insertion, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!
• Unit Information: 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1-4:5; NOCs 1:5-7; Excellent LPN and CNA support. CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes assignment on NOC shift.
• Unit Strengths: Excellent teamwork with support of fantastic LPNs and CNAs.
• Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs - No competing health systems or agency logos
• 3 call-ins can result in termination
• Teaching hospital, may require precepting of students & new-hires
