Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week acute care assignment in Federal Way, WA. WA or compact RN license and BLS required; BSN preferred. 2+ years Med/Surg experience preferred. Shift: Days, 3x12hrs; 36 hrs per week; start ASAP.

Must titrate insulin and heparin drips; telemetry read preferred; CNA support on unit. Floating within region may occur. Weekly pay is $2,080; breakdown includes regular hours, stipends, lodging and meals; annual equivalents available.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• 2+ years of Med/Surg experience preferred
• Must be able to titrate insulin and heparin drips
• Ability to read telemetry strips preferred
• Copy of driver's license required
• Two professional references required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit
• May be floated to other facilities within the region
• Unit orientation provided and professional scrubs allowed
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
