Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for travel assignments. The RN will provide hands-on nursing care across shifts, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

This 14-week contract offers weekly pay, travel stipends included in weekly rate, and Sanford benefits. Candidates must have RN licensure, BSN preferred, and travel experience; relocation optional.

Qualifications

• At least one year of nursing experience.
• At least six months of travel experience.
• Live at least 60 miles from Fargo, ND location.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• BSN preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license with state licensure or multistate (NLC).
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to provide individualized patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing.
• Care for patients in preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate patient assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions.
• Work within the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of practice.
