- Med/Surg unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00) with option for 4x12 hours
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Floating required
- May be asked to charge occasionally as needed
- 30-minute lunch break required with no skipped meals
- Active AL or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification via AHA required
- Fit test required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Experience with any charting system required
- Skilled in IV starts, isolation precautions/PPE, and wound care/wound vac
- Experience with blood product administration preferred
- Experience with peripheral line care/management preferred
- Experience with PICC line management preferred
- Experience with colostomy/ileostomy management and care preferred
- Experience with feeding tube care and management preferred
- Experience administering Heparin preferred
- Experience administering Insulin preferred
- Experience with PCA administration preferred
- Experience with nasal cannula and oxygen administration preferred
- Experience with surgical drains preferred
- Experience with Paragon charting system preferred
- Travel experience preferred but not required, first-time travelers welcome to apply
- Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel position
- Requested time off (RTO) limited to a maximum of 7 days
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered at a lower rate
