Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for Long Term Care in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. This 13-week assignment requires 48 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts, offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and monitor for changes; adjust care as needed.
• Develop and update personalized care plans with the care team and families.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Observe for adverse drug reactions and report changes to provider.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other procedures.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Educate residents and families on medications and chronic conditions.
• Document patient progress and health changes promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams.
