American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN in South Dakota for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility assignment. Requires SD or compact RN license, BLS, and 1+ year of RN experience. 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with day or night options, and every third weekend/holiday coverage.

The role offers travel benefits, per diem, and a tax-free stipend. Assignment length typically 6 weeks, with a start ASAP, in a post-acute LTC/SNF setting.

Qualifications

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• At least one year of RN experience required for consideration
• Travel experience and ability to meet assignment demands preferred

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility in a post-acute setting
• Care is provided to long-term patients and residents typical of an LTC/SNF environment
• 12-hour shifts with options for days (6am–6pm) or nights (6pm–6am)
• Every third weekend and holiday coverage is required
• No on-call or call back responsibilities
• Duties include nursing care and monitoring of LTC/SNF residents
• Assignment length ranges from 4 to 8 weeks as scheduled
• Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
• Professional attire appropriate for LTC/SNF setting
• Local candidates within 80 miles receive adjusted rates
