Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility travel assignment in Garrison, North Dakota. This position requires ND or compact RN licensure and BLS certification, with a 13-week duration and 36 hours per week. Shifts are 12 hours and rotating day/night.

RNs serve as charge nurses, administer medications, and perform wound care within a 26-bed LTC/SNF in an acute care setting. Travel stipends and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of LTC/SNF nursing experience.
• ND license or compact license required; BLS certification.
• Experience with med administration and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 26-bed Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) within an acute care setting
• Patient population includes residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
• Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:10 on days and 1:19 on nights
• Uses Matrix EMR system
• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts from 7-7
• Required to work every other weekend and every other major holiday
• RNs act as charge nurses, administer medications, and perform wound care
• No floating or on-call requirements
