Job summary

TotalMed RN invites experienced RNs to join a travel LTAC assignment in Saint Charles, MO. You will deliver high-acuity care to patients with complex needs, including ventilator management and wound care, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize recovery and discharge planning.

The role requires at least one year in LTAC or similar settings, BLS certification, and active state licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience in LTAC or similar high-acuity setting.
• Current BLS certification and eligibility for state licensure.
• Additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer IV meds, manage central lines, and monitor vitals and labs.
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care and advanced wound management.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers.
• Support mobility, hygiene, and nutrition; supervise LPNs and CNAs.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and participate in rounds.
• Document care accurately and in real time; assist admissions and discharges.
