Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel LTAC Registered Nurse for a St. Charles, Missouri assignment. You will care for LTAC patients on a 12-hour night shift, ~36 hours per week, with travel benefits and credentialing support.

The position requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and LTAC experience; familiarity with vents, trachs, drips and telemetry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of LTAC experience.
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes and telemetry skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for LTAC patients (5–6 per unit) in a fast-paced setting.
• Monitor and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV).
• Adjust care plans and manage admissions/discharges.
• Educate patients and family on procedures and illness.
• Interpret telemetry and monitor vital signs.
• Use equipment to monitor cardiac data and patient status.
