Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents across long-term care settings. The role uses the full nursing process—from assessment to evaluation—and requires collaboration with residents, families and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

A minimum of 3 months experience is required for LTC, with 6 months preferred, and travel within a 75-mile radius is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA) preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum age 18+ and active RN license in the state of practice (or multistate license).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and interdisciplinary team; delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Possibly serve as charge nurse and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff; ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and address concerns.
