Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Long Term Care is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a 13-week assignment in Bemidji, MN. This travel role offers an opportunity to impact residents’ health and well-being while enjoying competitive pay, benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

The RN will provide skilled care in a LTC setting, develop care plans, administer medications, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with physicians and therapists.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in long-term care.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, monitor for changes, and take action as needed.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with residents and families.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Observe for medication reactions or status changes and report to provider.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other procedures.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Educate residents and families on medications and conditions.
• Document care and patient progress in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff for coordinated care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
