Job summary
Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an experienced RN - LDRP for a travel assignment in Cedar Rapids, IA. The Labor and Delivery Nurse will provide nursing care in the L&D setting, apply the nursing process, and monitor mothers and newborns to ensure safe transitions to maternal-child care.
With a 36-hour work week and a weekly pay of $3,031, the role offers competitive compensation. Requirements include an active RN license, L&D experience preferred, CPR, and health clearance; RNC-OB preferred.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
- RNC-OB certification preferred.
- CPR certification if applicable.
- TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
- Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Labor and Delivery setting per the nursing process.
- Monitor mothers and newborns and respond to obstetric complications.
- Educate patients and address psychosocial needs postpartum.
- Coordinate the transition from labor and delivery to maternal-child care.
