Job summary
American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Labor & Delivery in Dubuque, IA. Night shifts are 3x12 hours, 36 hours per week, with start ASAP for a 13-week assignment.
Requires 24 months L&D experience, IA license, BLS/ACLS, NRP, EFM, STABLE, and Epic EMR proficiency. Travel nursing experience and ability to work every third weekend are expected. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Active IA or compact/multistate RN license required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required.
- NRP certification required.
- Intermediate or Advanced EFM (electronic fetal monitoring) certification required.
- STABLE certification required.
- Minimum 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Travel nursing experience within the last 15 months required.
- Epic EMR experience required.
- Experience administering glucose, magnesium, pitocin, and insulin required.
- Nursery/Mother-Baby or NICU experience preferred.
- Driver's license required for consideration.
- Professional reference from a supervisor within the last 24 months preferred.
Responsibilities
- Care for antepartum, mother-baby, newborn, OB/GYN, and NICU patient populations.
- Administers medication drips and titrations including glucose, magnesium, pitocin, and insulin.
- Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Floating required based on patient care needs.
- Uses Epic EMR.
