Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Middleburg, FL. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, delivering comprehensive obstetric care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of L&D experience, an active Florida RN license, and BLS; NRP certification is required, with AWHONN, STABLE, and ACLS preferred. Travel compensation includes competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
Active RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
NRP Certification required.

Responsibilities

Assess maternal and fetal status and provide comprehensive obstetric care.
Administer prescribed medications and assisted procedures during labor and delivery.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and nursing staff to ensure safety and quality care.
Document patient care, assessments, and interventions in the medical record.
Respond to obstetric emergencies following evidence-based protocols.
Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
