Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Florida. The role involves 36 hours per week, nights shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a tax-free stipend and local travel considerations.

Responsibilities include providing obstetrical care across antepartum to neonatal phases, applying nursing processes, and exercising leadership while maintaining competencies through ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of prior travel experience in Labor and Delivery, postpartum, nursery, or Mother/Baby.
• Must hold Florida RN license (AHCA for Florida placements).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP; PALS required within 30 days.
• AWHONN certification preferred, can be completed onsite.
• Flexibility to float to other units per facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Labor and Delivery patients following the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Utilize nursing processes to ensure the safety and effectiveness of patient care.
• Demonstrate leadership by delegating patient care priorities and supervising assigned personnel.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuous education and training.
