Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a night-shift Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. The position requires an Alabama or compact RN license and at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule.

Travelers must meet eligibility rules, including living more than 50 miles from the facility. Benefits begin day one with medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k), and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama or compact state.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• No certifications may expire within 30 days of start date.
• Gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months are not permitted.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting.
• Night shift hours from 18:30 to 07:00.
• Assignment length is 13 weeks.
• Travelers previously as permanent staff at CHS facilities in past 2 years are ineligible.
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week.
• Holiday coverage may be required; both returning and new travelers may apply.
