Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for the Moses Lake, WA area on a 13-week night shift contract. WA or compact RN licensure and required certifications are needed to start.

The LDRP unit offers a dynamic environment with patient care across labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum, with opportunities for call shifts and leadership responsibilities as described by the facility.

Qualifications

• Active WA state or compact RN license required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• NRP required before orientation end; renewed every 2 years.
• ACLS required within 6 months; renewed every 2 years.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring training required within 3 months of L&D training; renewed every 2 years.
• One year of RN experience in specialty nursing preferred.
• RN-C in specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as caregiver and care manager, coordinating care with staff.
• May serve as Charge Nurse with delegation and admissions/discharges/transfers.
• Provide patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Document care via EMR or paper per policy.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to optimize outcomes.
