Requirements include an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/AWHONN certifications, and 18 months of recent L&D experience in acute care.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and AWHONN certifications are required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor mother and newborn vital signs and detect high-risk issues.
• Educate and support mothers and families after delivery.
