Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for an assignment in Nampa, Idaho. The RN will provide care before, during, and after delivery, supporting both medical and emotional needs of patients in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 3 years of acute care experience and certifications such as BLS, NRP, AWHONN, and ACLS. Expect 13-week duration with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, and travel compensation as per assignment terms.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• Active BLS, NRP, AWHONN and ACLS certifications.
• Travel nursing assignment in Labor & Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assess cervical dilation and progression during labor.
• Keep beds clean and prepare delivery environment.
• Assist physicians with delivery equipment and newborn care.
