Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Mayfield, Kentucky. This travel role requires 36 hours per week across days and nights.

You will perform plan of care, monitor patient conditions, collaborate with the care team, educate patients and families, and advocate for their well-being. Requires 1 year acute care experience and active RN license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience in hospital setting
• Current state nursing license
• Appropriate certifications as required for position
• Degree from an accredited school
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies
• Ability to communicate clearly in English

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient/family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition
• Act as advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
