Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Marble Falls, Texas. The position features a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts, and a competitive weekly pay of around $2,758.

You will provide labor and delivery nursing care, monitor mothers, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and education. Current RN license in-state, CPR, and 18+ years are required; prior L&D experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
• One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Labor and Delivery nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the L&D setting.
• The Labor and Delivery nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision.
• The labor and delivery nurse works with mothers during the final stages of pregnancy, helping with birthing, monitoring vital signs, and recognizing signs of complications.
• The nurse participates in patient education and addresses psychosocial needs of mothers after delivery, coordinating patient care.
