American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Alexandria, Louisiana. Requires minimum 1 year L&D experience and an active LA or compact RN license. Start ASAP for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour days, travel employment.

Responsibilities include nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining valid certifications. Per diems and licensure reimbursements are available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Louisiana or a compact state.
• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past year.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery for laboring/postpartum patients.
• Work day shift with 7:00 AM–7:00 PM hours.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain active certifications throughout the assignment.
