Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a hospital contract in Alexandria, Louisiana. This travel role offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (7P-7A), starting ASAP for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities include providing labor and delivery nursing care, assisting with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, monitoring fetal heart rates, OB circulator duties, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Qualifications

• RN license acknowledged as required.
• RN L&D experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in labor and delivery units.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and interpret fetal strips.
• Perform OB circulator duties and assist during procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout labor and delivery processes.
