American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Labor & Delivery unit in North Dakota. The position requires an active ND RN license or compact state license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE.

You will work three 12-hour shifts per week, with a 36-hour total schedule, and a 30-minute meal break. The role emphasizes direct patient care, discharge planning, and collaboration with the interprofessional team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Any shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included in shift
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond appropriately, including emergency interventions
• Begin discharge planning early and provide patient/family education
• Delegate nursing interventions within scope of practice as appropriate
• Document observations and complete incident reports as needed
