Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Interventional Radiology position requiring applicable IR technologist experience and a WA or compact RN license.

The role features a day shift (4x10s, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM), on-call with rotating weekends/evenings, and travel-friendly terms. Candidates with ARRT IR scrub experience are encouraged to apply; references required. Local candidates may be offered a lower bill rate.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission.
• At least 1 year of applicable IR experience required.
• Must have experience as an ARRT (VI) technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist, or as an ARRT (R) IR Technologist with scrub experience.
• ARRT (VI) certification preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• First-time travelers with scrub experience will be considered.
• 2 professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years, from supervisory roles such as Charge RNs or Leads.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a short term acute care, Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma teaching hospital.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• On-call required with rotating weekend coverage and one rotating evening per week
• No floating between units required
• Uses Epic charting system
• Perform interventional radiology nursing duties within a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting
• Any scrub color accepted for RNs
• No parking fee at this facility
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50 mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius to qualify for travel rate
• Facility does not accept candidates with Nursys or background check hits
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities as permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem staff
