Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Milwaukee, requiring both General IR and Neuro IR experience with call rotation. The role involves 40-50 patients daily, 10-hour shifts from 0700 to 1730 on weekdays, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Active WI or compact RN license is required, plus BLS/ACLS certification. Experience with IR procedures and sedation, monitoring, and charting is essential; Epic EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 12 months of recent core IR experience in IR, including General IR and Neuro IR.
• Experience with IR cases such as bleeds, TIPS, Y-90, carotid stenting, and strokes.
• Experience providing sedation, monitoring, and charting for IR patients.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Experience with Siemens and GE equipment preferred.
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration.
• Middle name or initial required for consideration.
• At least one professional reference within the past year from a supervisor, manager, director, or charge RN required.

Responsibilities

• Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU with Magnet Designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• 5-room IR department staffed 24/7.
• Adult patient population only, no pediatrics.
• Provide sedation, monitoring, and charting support for General IR and Neuro IR procedures.
• Work alongside two techs per exam room and other staff.
• Response time of 30 minutes required when on call.
• No holiday coverage currently required, though subject to change.
• Scrubs provided and free parking with badge access.
