Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Interventional Radiology nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Proficiency with IR procedures, monitoring, and recovery processes.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Travel nursing experience highly valued, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress pre- and post-procedure.
- Collaborate with radiology and procedural teams to ensure safe, effective care.
- Educate patients and families on procedure preparation and post-care.
- Respond to emergencies and complications with prompt clinical intervention.
